Dappallam Recipe in Telugu
Pumpkin – Small piece
Bottle Gourd – small piece
Carrot – 2
Lady’s finger – 15
Drumstick – 1
Small Onions – 6
Coriander – little
Curry leaves – little
Brinjal – 4
Green chillies – 5
Tamarind – 50 gms
Garlic cloves – 4
Tempering ingredients – 1 spoon
Red Chillies – 3
Mirchi powder – 3 spoons
Turmeric powder – 1/2 spoon
Asafoetida – a pinch
Salt
Oil
Preparation Method :
Heat a Vessel
Add oil
Add garlic cloves and fry
Add tempering ingredients
Add red chillies and fry
Now add curry leaves, chillies and onions
Cover and fry for some time
Remove lid and add drumstick, pumpkin
Mix once and cover with lid
Cook for for 5 minutes
Now add lady’s fingers, carrots and brinjal
Mix well
Add Salt
Add turmeric, mirchi powder
Boil for 5 minutes
Add tamarind juice
Add Coriander
Cover and boil
Garnish with coriander and serve
