Godhuma Rava Upma Recipe
Ingredients to prepare Godhuma Rava Upma
Godhuma Rava | 1 cup |
Onions | 2 |
Green peas | 1/4 cup |
Carrots | 2 small |
Green chillies | 4 to 5 |
Ginger | 1/2 inch |
Mustard seeds | 1/4 tsp |
Oil | 4 tea spoons |
Salt | to taste |
Chopped coriander | 2 table spoons |
Godhuma Rava Upma preparation method :
Chop Onions, green chillies and carrots finely, grate ginger and keep aside.
Clean, wash the cook the Godhuma Rava in 4 cups of hot water for 5 minutes. Drain and keep aside.
Heat the oil in a pressure cooker, and add the mustard seeds.
Add green chillies, onions and ginger, mix well and sauté on a medium flame for 2 minutes.
Add the green peas and carrots, mix well and sauté on a medium flame for 1 to 2 minutes.
Now add the Godhuma Rava, salt and 21/2 cups of water, mix well and pressure cook for 2 whistles.
After the steam settles down open the lid of the cooker and transfer it into the serving dish.
Now the Godhuma Rava Upma is ready to serve.
Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot.
